REX TRIMM - STATEMENT

I try to bring a sense of metaphor to my work. The majority of my work has a sculptural expectation. It leaves the realm of the goblet (or object) and becomes more of a reference to its own form, rather than the object is its form. Like a reflection on a pond, the form serves as a reflection for my metaphor to be viewed in a vessel.
