The lines and shapes of the human body are my primary source of imagery. I think the relationship between jewelry and the physical body allows for an appropriate use of the body as subject matte. I use drawings to generate enamel pieces which reference these forms, and then employ chain and strings of beads to accentuate the drawn lines and to sketch new lines onto the wearer. These elements combine to produce objects which simultaneously abstract and illustrate the body.
